Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Jakie Quartz, 70, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for her hit song Mise au point really single again?

Quartz spotted alone

A fan spotted Jakie Quartz walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 19, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Jakie back on the market?

A rep for Jakie Quartz was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Friday (March 20), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
