Jane Goodall died in Beverly Hills on October 1, 2025 at the age of 91. As a number of online tributes attest, she was one of the most acclaimed scientists of her generation.

Fans of Jane Goodall along with the rest of the world have been remembering the iconic woman she was.

Goodall, a cultural icon

Born Dame Jane Morris Goodall in London on April 3, 1934, her career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in English history. Goodall was not just a great scientist, she was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.

Her legacy will continue to grow as new generations of fans are discovering her unique heritage.

Although Jane Goodall is no longer physically here, her presence is more powerful than ever. She left a void that has yet to be filled.
