Is the 78-year-old singer officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Jeannie C. Riley, 78, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for her hit song Harper Valley PTA really single again?

Riley spotted alone

A fan spotted Jeannie C. Riley walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 18, 2024. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Jeannie back on the market?

A rep for Jeannie C. Riley was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Friday (April 19), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
