Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Jeannie Longo, 67, and her partner had split up. Is the French athlete really single again?

Longo spotted alone

A fan spotted Jeannie Longo walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 12, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Jeannie back on the market?

A rep for Jeannie Longo was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the athlete was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (January 13), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
