Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Jemima Rooper, 45, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her role on the television series Lost in Austen really single again?

Rooper spotted alone

A fan spotted Jemima Rooper walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of October 30, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Jemima back on the market?

A rep for Jemima Rooper was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Saturday (October 31), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
