Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Jennifer Connelly, 55, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in A Beautiful Mind or Requiem for a Dream really single again?

Connelly spotted alone

A fan spotted Jennifer Connelly walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 13, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Jennifer back on the market?

A rep for Jennifer Connelly was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Josh Charles - was splitting hit the internet Saturday (March 14), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
