Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Jennifer Westfeldt, 55, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Friends with Kids or Kissing Jessica Stein really single again?

Westfeldt spotted alone

A fan spotted Jennifer Westfeldt walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 21, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Jennifer back on the market?

A rep for Jennifer Westfeldt was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Thursday (January 22), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
