Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Jennylyn Mercado, 38, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her role in The Bride and the Lover really single again?

Mercado spotted alone

A fan spotted Jennylyn Mercado walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 29, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Jennylyn back on the market?

A rep for Jennylyn Mercado was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Thursday (April 30), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
