Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Jill Schoelen, 63, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in The Phantom of the Opera or The Stepfather really single again?

Schoelen spotted alone

A fan spotted Jill Schoelen walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of June 23, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Jill back on the market?

A rep for Jill Schoelen was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Brad Pitt - was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (June 24), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
