Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Joanne Froggatt, 46, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in A Street Cat Named Bob or Downton Abbey really single again?

Froggatt spotted alone

A fan spotted Joanne Froggatt walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of September 22, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Joanne back on the market?

A rep for Joanne Froggatt was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (September 23), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
