Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Julia Roberts, 58, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Ocean's Eleven, Erin Brockovich or Pretty Woman really single again?

Roberts spotted alone

A fan spotted Julia Roberts walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 8, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Julia back on the market?

A rep for Julia Roberts was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Matthew Perry, Billy Idol, Benjamin Bratt, Daniel Day-Lewis, Liam Neeson, Kiefer Sutherland, Jason Patric, Dylan McDermott or Lyle Lovett - was splitting hit the internet Monday (March 9), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
