Is the 85-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Julie Christie, 85, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Away from Her or Doctor Zhivago really single again?

Christie spotted alone

A fan spotted Julie Christie walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 26, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Julie back on the market?

A rep for Julie Christie was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Warren Beatty - was splitting hit the internet Monday (April 27), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
