Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Julie Gayet, 54, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Shall We Kiss? or Delphine 1, Yvan 0 really single again?

Gayet spotted alone

A fan spotted Julie Gayet walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of September 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Julie back on the market?

A rep for Julie Gayet was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with François Hollande or Santiago Amigorena - was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (September 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
