Is the 61-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Juliette Binoche, 61, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in The English Patient, Three Colors: Blue or The Lovers on the Bridge really single again?

Binoche spotted alone

A fan spotted Juliette Binoche walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 9, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Juliette back on the market?

A rep for Juliette Binoche was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Leos Carax, Benoît Magimel or Santiago Amigorena - was splitting hit the internet Saturday (January 10), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
