Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Kamala Harris, 61, and her partner had split up. Is the Vice President of the United States really single again?

Harris spotted alone

A fan spotted Kamala Harris walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 1, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Kamala back on the market?

A rep for Kamala Harris was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the politician was splitting hit the internet Friday (January 2), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
