Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Kana Nishino, 37, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for hit songs like If or Best Friend really single again?

Nishino spotted alone

A fan spotted Kana Nishino walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of October 27, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Kana back on the market?

A rep for Kana Nishino was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (October 28), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
