Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Kandi Burruss, 50, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for her role in The Real Housewives of Atlanta really single again?

Burruss spotted alone

A fan spotted Kandi Burruss walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of October 23, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Kandi back on the market?

A rep for Kandi Burruss was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Saturday (October 24), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
