Is the 53-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Kate del Castillo, 53, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in La Reina del Sur or Under the Same Moon really single again?

del Castillo spotted alone

A fan spotted Kate del Castillo walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 23, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Kate back on the market?

A rep for Kate del Castillo was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Aarón Díaz - was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (December 24), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
