Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Kate Gosselin, 50, and her partner had split up. Is the television host best known as cast member of Jon & Kate Plus 8 really single again?

Gosselin spotted alone

A fan spotted Kate Gosselin walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 26, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Kate back on the market?

A rep for Kate Gosselin was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the television host - known for having been romantically involved with Jon Gosselin - was splitting hit the internet Saturday (December 27), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
