Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Kate Hudson, 47, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Bride Wars, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days or Almost Famous really single again?

Hudson spotted alone

A fan spotted Kate Hudson walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of May 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Kate back on the market?

A rep for Kate Hudson was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Adam Scott, Alex Rodriguez, Owen Wilson, Dax Shepard, Matthew Bellamy, Chris Robinson or Lance Armstrong - was splitting hit the internet Saturday (May 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
