Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Katey Sagal, 72, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Sons of Anarchy or Married... with Children really single again?

Sagal spotted alone

A fan spotted Katey Sagal walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of August 23, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Katey back on the market?

A rep for Katey Sagal was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Gene Simmons - was splitting hit the internet Monday (August 24), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
