Is the 47-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Katharine Towne, 47, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Mulholland Drive or What Lies Beneath really single again?

Towne spotted alone

A fan spotted Katharine Towne walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 15, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Katharine back on the market?

A rep for Katharine Towne was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Charlie Hunnam - was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (December 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
