Is the 38-year-old singer officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Katrina Darrell, 38, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known as cast member of American Idol in 2009 really single again?

Darrell spotted alone

A fan spotted Katrina Darrell walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Katrina back on the market?

A rep for Katrina Darrell was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer - known for having been romantically involved with Ryan Seacrest - was splitting hit the internet Friday (January 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
