Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Kelly Ripa, 56, and her partner had split up. Is the host of ‘Live! with Kelly and Michael’ really single again?

Ripa spotted alone

A fan spotted Kelly Ripa walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of October 5, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Kelly back on the market?

A rep for Kelly Ripa was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (October 6), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
