Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Kyra Sedgwick, 60, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in The Closer or Man on a Ledge really single again?

Sedgwick spotted alone

A fan spotted Kyra Sedgwick walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 3, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Kyra back on the market?

A rep for Kyra Sedgwick was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Thursday (December 4), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
