Remembering L. Ron Hubbard, 38 Years Later

It has been exactly 38 long years since L. Ron Hubbard died in Creston on January 24, 1986 at the age of 74. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed religious figures of his generation.

Today, fans of L. Ron Hubbard along with the rest of the world have been remembering the iconic man he was.

Hubbard, a cultural icon

Born Lafayette Ronald Hubbard in Tilden on March 13, 1911, his career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in American history. Hubbard was not just a great religious figure, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.

His legacy continues to grow as new generations of fans are discovering his unique heritage.

It's been 38 years since the tragic loss of L. Ron Hubbard and his personality still resonate strongly within us all. Although L. Ron Hubbard is no longer physically here, his presence is more powerful than ever. He left a void that has yet to be filled.
