Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Lana Del Rey, 39, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for her album Born to Die really single again?

Del Rey spotted alone

A fan spotted Lana Del Rey walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 10, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Lana back on the market?

A rep for Lana Del Rey was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Sunday (January 11), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
