Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Laura Bush, 79, and her partner had split up. Is the former First lady really single again?

Bush spotted alone
A fan spotted Laura Bush walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 24, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”
Is Laura back on the market?
A rep for Laura Bush was not immediately available for comment.
Truth or rumor, when news that the politician was splitting hit the internet Thursday (December 25), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
