Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Lauren Conrad, 40, and her partner had split up. Is the television host best known for her roles in The Hills or Laguna Beach really single again?

Conrad spotted alone

A fan spotted Lauren Conrad walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 16, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Lauren back on the market?

A rep for Lauren Conrad was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the television host - known for having been romantically involved with Doug Reinhardt - was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (March 17), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
