Is the 45-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Lauren Lee Smith, 45, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The L Word or Mutant X really single again?

Smith spotted alone

A fan spotted Lauren Lee Smith walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 12, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Lauren back on the market?

A rep for Lauren Lee Smith was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Saturday (December 13), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
