Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Leslie Caron, 94, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in The L-Shaped Room, Gigi, Lili or An American in Paris really single again?

Caron spotted alone

A fan spotted Leslie Caron walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 13, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Leslie back on the market?

A rep for Leslie Caron was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Warren Beatty - was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (January 14), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
