Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Liane Foly, 63, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for hit songs like On a tous le droit, Va savoir or La vie ne m'apprend rien really single again?

Foly spotted alone
A fan spotted Liane Foly walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 8, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”
Is Liane back on the market?
A rep for Liane Foly was not immediately available for comment.
Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Friday (January 9), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
