Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Louise Lasser, 86, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her role on the television series Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman really single again?

Lasser spotted alone

A fan spotted Louise Lasser walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 14, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Louise back on the market?

A rep for Louise Lasser was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Woody Allen - was splitting hit the internet Sunday (March 15), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
