It has been exactly 2 long years since Nobel medicine prize 2008 Luc Montagnier died in Neuilly-sur-Seine on February 8, 2022 at the age of 89. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed scientists of his generation.

Today, fans of Luc Montagnier along with the rest of the world have been remembering the iconic man he was.

Born Luc Antoine Montagnier in Chabris on August 18, 1932, his career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in French history. Montagnier was not just a great scientist, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.
