Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Lucero, 56, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for hit songs like Lazos de Amor, Electricidad or Ya no really single again?

Lucero spotted alone

A fan spotted Lucero walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 13, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Lucero back on the market?

A rep for Lucero was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer - known for having been romantically involved with Manuel Mijares - was splitting hit the internet Saturday (March 14), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
