Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Lucy Bronze, 34, and her partner had split up. Is the English footballer really single again?

Bronze spotted alone

A fan spotted Lucy Bronze walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 8, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Lucy back on the market?

A rep for Lucy Bronze was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the footballer was splitting hit the internet Thursday (April 9), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
