Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Lucy Mecklenburgh, 32, and her partner had split up. Is the model best known for her role on the television series The Only Way Is Essex really single again?

Mecklenburgh spotted alone

A fan spotted Lucy Mecklenburgh walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 20, 2024. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Lucy back on the market?

A rep for Lucy Mecklenburgh was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the model was splitting hit the internet Saturday (December 21), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
