Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Luz Elena González, 51, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Una familia con suerte or Hasta que el dinero nos separe really single again?

González spotted alone

A fan spotted Luz Elena González walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 14, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Luz Elena back on the market?

A rep for Luz Elena González was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Sunday (March 15), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
