Is the 38-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Lyndsy Fonseca, 38, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in How I Met Your Mother, Nikita or Desperate Housewives really single again?

Fonseca spotted alone

A fan spotted Lyndsy Fonseca walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 30, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Lyndsy back on the market?

A rep for Lyndsy Fonseca was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (December 31), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
