Is the 50-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Mackenzie Firgens, 50, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in The Thompsons or The Hamiltons really single again?

Firgens spotted alone

A fan spotted Mackenzie Firgens walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 13, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Mackenzie back on the market?

A rep for Mackenzie Firgens was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (January 14), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
