Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Malinda Williams, 50, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her role on the television series Soul Food really single again?

Williams spotted alone

A fan spotted Malinda Williams walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 18, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Malinda back on the market?

A rep for Malinda Williams was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Thursday (March 19), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
