It has been exactly 11 long years since Marco Perrin died in Issy-les-Moulineaux on February 17, 2014 at the age of 86. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed actors of his generation.

Born in Aix-en-Provence on May 16, 1927, Marco Perrin's career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in French history. Perrin was not just a great actor, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.

In 1969 he touched the hearts of millions as Octave Bonnafous in ‘Army of Shadows’. His legacy continues to grow as new generations of fans are discovering his unique heritage.
