Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Maria Clara Mattos, 57, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her role on the television series Love, Eternal Love really single again?

Mattos spotted alone

A fan spotted Maria Clara Mattos walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Maria Clara back on the market?

A rep for Maria Clara Mattos was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Gabriel Braga Nunes - was splitting hit the internet Monday (March 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
