It has been exactly 7 long years since Maria Pacôme died in Ballainvilliers on December 1, 2018 at the age of 95. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed actors of his generation.

Born in Paris on July 18, 1923, Maria Pacôme's career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in French history. Pacôme was not just a great actor, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.

In 1980 he touched the hearts of millions as Lucie Jumaucourt in ‘The Under-Gifted’. His legacy continues to grow as new generations of fans are discovering his unique heritage.
