Ahrens created a stir on Thursday when rumors have surfaced that her career was over.

Sad news for Ahrens fans. Speculation had been rife that the German actress best known for her roles in In the Name of the Law or Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten, is about to announce her retirement from acting, at age 56, with immediate effect.

Other reports hinted that she may branch out into other creative fields she is better at (and more interested in), though they didn't provide any details.
