Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Marisa Tomei, 61, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Spider-Man: Homecoming, The Ides of March or What Women Want really single again?

Tomei spotted alone

A fan spotted Marisa Tomei walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 27, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Marisa back on the market?

A rep for Marisa Tomei was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Sunday (December 28), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
