Is the 55-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Martha Plimpton, 55, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in The Good Wife, Raising Hope or The Goonies really single again?

Plimpton spotted alone

A fan spotted Martha Plimpton walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of May 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Martha back on the market?

A rep for Martha Plimpton was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Saturday (May 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
