Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Martina Hingis, 45, and her partner had split up. Is the Swiss tennis player really single again?

Hingis spotted alone
A fan spotted Martina Hingis walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 12, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”
Is Martina back on the market?
A rep for Martina Hingis was not immediately available for comment.
Truth or rumor, when news that the tennis player was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (January 13), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
