Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Megan Rapinoe, 40, and her partner had split up. Is the winner of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2019 really single again?

Rapinoe spotted alone

A fan spotted Megan Rapinoe walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 8, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Megan back on the market?

A rep for Megan Rapinoe was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the footballer was splitting hit the internet Thursday (April 9), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
