Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Melania Trump, 56, and her partner had split up. Is the First lady really single again?

Trump spotted alone

A fan spotted Melania Trump walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of May 14, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Melania back on the market?

A rep for Melania Trump was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the model was splitting hit the internet Friday (May 15), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
